Mazen was born Lebanon and is an educated contemporary dancer and dance teacher. He has danced tango for more than 8 years and has studied with well known masters like Chicho & Lucia, Gustavo & Giselle, and Fabian & Carolina.
He started teaching 5years ago and is offering weekly classes in Paris. He dances both open and milongero style and focuses in his teaching on musicality and good connection between the partners.
He has worked with Lucia Mazer, Victoria Viejra and others.
Mazen was invited to Oslo Tangofestival to teach for 5 days during easter 2004. He then worked with Alexandra Archetti. The fall season of 2005 Mazen was here twice teaching with Unni Hermansen. We are happy to invite Mazen to Oslo again for Easter festival 2006. This time in collaboration with Nina Grutle, a splendid dancer, who has developed her dancing recently by spending 4 months of studying tango in Buenos Aires.
